Gorodki of Sverdlovsk: From an Architectural Project to Social Experience (Moscow)

The exhibition was first shown during the festival "Days of Constructivism in the Urals" in Yekaterinburg in the fall of 2016.

The project is dedicated to the famous complexes of constructivist buildings in Yekaterinburg, which received the name "gorodki" in the Urals. The authors of the exhibition focused on the social experiments set by architects, and the everyday life as seen in the decor of the new Soviet way of life.

The everyday life of people in constructivist buildings is revealed through examples of five administrative and residential complexes in the capital of the Urals, Yekaterinburg.
