The museum opened on June 7, 2017. It occupies one of the halls in Na Shabolvke Gallery. The first three sections presented in June feature the Shukhov Tower, the first communal house in Moscow and Danilovsky Mostorg. The new museum is part of the program put on by the Avant-Garde Center, and realized thanks to a City of the Future grant.
